The problem
Hospital software in India can do better.
Many Indian hospitals run on a patchwork. A registration desk on one system, a pharmacy on another, billing in spreadsheets and clinical notes on paper. Staff re-enter the same patient details again and again, and nobody sees the whole picture.
The alternatives are often imported systems built for other countries. They treat ABDM, GST, PMJAY and Indian languages as extras, assume a stable network, and take a long time to implement. When they don't fit, staff quietly work around them.
We think Indian hospitals deserve better. So we design Carexa from the ground up around how care is delivered here: ABDM-native, FHIR-native, GST-aware, multi-language, offline-tolerant, cloud-hosted and open to integration.
Fragmented

The clinician comes first
We design every screen with doctors and nurses in mind, and we watch real work before we build. If it adds friction to care, it doesn't ship.
India is not a translation
We don't bolt rupee symbols onto a foreign product. ABDM, GST, PMJAY and Indian languages are foundations, not add-ons.
Patient data is sacred
Encrypted in transit and at rest, every access logged, consent recorded. We design for the DPDP Act 2023 and host data in India.
Open beats locked-in
FHIR over the wire. Open APIs. Your data is exportable on day one and on the day you leave.
Built for real networks
Power cuts and patchy internet are part of the day. We design the front desk to keep registering and billing offline, then sync.
