Overview

The whole patient, before they sit down.

An electronic medical record (EMR) holds a patient’s clinical history within one provider; an electronic health record (EHR) can be shared across providers. Carexa OS keeps one FHIR-coded record across every department, and with the patient’s consent shares it through ABDM.

One timeline

Every encounter, from the first visit onwards, on one queryable record.

Orders that check themselves

Interaction, allergy and dose-range checks on every prescription.

Shared on consent

Records linked to the patient’s ABHA and shared only when they agree.

Capabilities

What’s included.

Questions

EMR and EHR, answered.

What is the difference between EMR and EHR?

An EMR is a patient’s medical record within one provider. An EHR can be shared across providers. Carexa OS keeps one record across your departments and, with the patient’s consent, shares it with other providers through ABDM.

Is Carexa OS FHIR compliant?

The record is FHIR R4-native, and the API serves Patient, Observation, Encounter, MedicationRequest, ServiceRequest and Bundle resources.

Does the EMR support specialty templates?

Yes. Specialty packs cover 20 specialties with templates, observations, order sets, billing codes and printouts.

Does it check prescriptions?

Yes, for drug-drug interactions, drug-allergy alerts and dose range, with weight-based dosing for children and renal and hepatic adjustment. Alerts support clinicians; diagnosis and treatment stay with them.

Can we export our data?

Yes. Your data stays yours: on the way out we export it as FHIR Bundles and a Postgres dump.
